Week 28
The random request for my paramedic transcript
You know how i said we would come back around to credentialing… well… let me just tell you… UGH!
So they have asked for all the things a couple times, I send them every time, well turns out they haven’t even updated my stuff since 6/20, that’s like almost two months, now they want a copy of my paramedic continuing education transcript from the community college which was not a degree course from 2001. Seriously people, because that is so related to the rest of my education and my PA license…
So, I’m digging because i’m just like, these are old records, it’s going to take like 3 weeks for them to get these things to me and evidently I had a stroke of brilliance back when I applied to PA school and got a copy for myself… still sealed in the envelope, I couldn’t make this up if I tried.
Xfinity damages
If I had realized they were Comcast I would have gotten Verizon… so they don’t have AT&T here… disappointing for me. So I sign up for the Xfinity people… no installation fee, great! Well I get home and plug the thing in like the guy tells me and it doesn’t work, I call and they are like , we will send someone out… great… So the guy comes out, leaves an absolute mess, I wind up with a leak at the water pipe where he was working AND they charge me $100 dollar instal fee… needless to say I will never be using them again, I’ve never been a Comcast fan anyways. Always had shit customer service.

So I get to get a new headshot… I have a great one that I love but it’s more than 6 months old, not that I look any different. It doesn’t cost me anything so sure… I think it turned out pretty good 🙂
Started on the NICU 4F5F this month
I’ve never been a neruo person but it’s actually been cool learning about all the neuro stuff I’ve avoided most of my career… I think I don’t like it because I’ve been so uncomfortable with it. I’m learning fast though. 24 hour shifts start this month as well. They did get me credentialed, which was interesting in and of itself… I was basically like, look you guys haven’t touched my stuff in over a month, here is everything you need. The people you said you sent reference forms to have told me they haven’t gotten anything, do your job. I know it’s tough to submit paperwork and follow up on things but…
Stove Still broken
Yup, I’m still down an entire eye on the stove. Wouldn’t be such a big deal if it wasn’t one of the big ones…
Baby swing together
And I got this baby swing together, I know it’s pink. I know i’m having a boy. Honestly I don’t think he will care. If he likes it, great. if he doesn’t, I’ll find a new loving home for it.
