Week 26

AC still out

I have been less than impressed with my new landlord… evidently ALL the appliances are ONLY 2 years old… maybe bought used but they aren’t that new. They all look like they have been used hard too. No preclean before I arrived so the bathrooms and kitchen were not great… unfortunately I was sort of locked into this place because I had to have a real estate agent find it for me and I didnt’ see it until we were moving in… needless to say, he hasn’t exactly been speedy with responses to issues. I think this is the problem with having owned homes and having standards and knowing what a good landlord looks like.

Marc’s apartment is set up, he is moved in and has a tower for Nala as well as all the Nala things she wants. She gets played with at least once a day… I feel bad for pixie since I just haven’t managed to get into that sort of routine yet!

Stove is still out

Yea, like i said… brand new element that was shipped to me to replace…

First visit with the new OB

Well I severely miss Dr. Lund in Milwaukee, he was awesome. This new group will work but they just aren’t him 🙁

Litter Robot

got the new litter box and it took a while and I had to not touch the other litter box for like a week but she is finally using it. I think she likes it. She is at least fascinated that it scoops her litter and does things on it’s own. We have wanted one of these for a while… I love it, so easy to change… next up will be getting a second one when Nala moves back in… they are just so big, that’s my only complaint. I splurged for the Wi-Fi enabled one!

Comfort Toys

Those of you who don’t know Pixie as well, her balls are her comfort toy. She will carry them around in her mouth mewing… I am taking her leaving her balls in bed with me to mean this is her safe place… she definitely spends enough time here, lol.

Bernice and I try to get together once every week or so to study… we decided, after a particularly frustrating session we needed tacos… they were pretty good too 🙂
