Week 16

Prepping for the Move

This Week was filled with preparations for the move. The girls both got a trip to the vet… mostly. Nala was great except the fact that she was not pleased on the way home… Pixie, however, was not ok with this vet thing. She pooped all over his towel, scratched him and me… needless to say we got nothing done and I will have to take her back for another visit for her rabies update.

Jenny is starting the packing process and worked with Rick and Marc to establish a good plan… may the massive clean out and Goodwill donation begin!

The moving plan

Jenny will be packing up the apartment. There will be movers to load the truck, Marc will be back to drive and then there will be movers to unload on the other end. We plan on flying back for work the following week. Jenny will have an ultrasound, one day of work and clean the apartment and then drive back to Pennsylvania the next week…

Rick came to visit

Rick took the train over… a pleasant trip. We decided to take the train home from Pittsburgh! I got a sleeper car and it costs about the same as a flight would with hopefully less stress and one less night in a hotel. The boys had a nice time smoking then we all went to dinner for Mexican, Lunch at a great little restaurant and got to go to a cheese and chocolate shop!

Apartment Hunting

We thought we had a place and then it fell through so working on another apartment. They have a lot of work to do to it so I have a backup this time

Licensing and Credentialing

Can I just take this moment to say that Pennsylvania’s Medical Licensing is ridiculous? NC actually has a spot on their background check application that asks what you are applying for and it lists Employment and THEN Employment in PA separately… seriously, it’s so bad other states have a specific box to check.
